The reason Move works so well is the same reason that people use laser pointers when giving powerpoint presentations - your hand and eye coordinate a lot easier than your thumbs and eye so it is more accurate.
When it comes to shooters Move is almost as good as a keyboard and mouse. Even Shooters on the Wii like Resident Evil 4 are much better when played with the Wiimote than with a joypad.

There is an imbalance but its due to the fact that the majority of gamers are male. That said games like tomb raider, heavenly sword, and Metroid i think provide more than enough positive female leads.
Of course you could flip it around and ask why white male leads are predominatly represented as macho, meathead, pricks while girls tend to be portrayed as intelligent, lethal, top of their game, ass kickers ?

I dont see it happening yet. Sony tend to use their consoles as a springboard for technology and the PS3 is still quite near the top of its game. I just cant see a ps4 being released until there is a reason for it greater than - slightly better graphics
